The hunting season for waterfowl and upland game has started in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

April 28 8:47

In the southern group of districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, from April 25, hunting for waterfowl and upland game was officially allowed. This was reported in Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

It is clarified that the territory of the region is divided into six zones. Traditionally, hunting will be opened in groups of districts, each lasting 10 days. In total, more than 1,100 resource extraction permits have been granted, and issuance will continue until the end of the season.

“Our region is a unique territory, home to many rare and protected bird species. Hunting them is strictly prohibited. Especially in the central and southern municipal districts, where extremely rare and small populations of geese live. Inspectors remind all visitors to hunting grounds of the need to strictly follow hunting rules and fire safety requirements. Your responsibility is to preserve the natural wealth of the region,” noted First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry of the region Alexey Bolshakov.

Applications for hunting can be submitted on the government services portal, as well as in person or by sending it by Russian Post. To obtain a permit, you need to pay a state fee and a tax amount (for wood grouse and black grouse).
