According to the partisans, the technical module of the telecommunications tower was destroyed, which led to a complete stoppage of work. As a result of the sabotage, communications disruption was felt by units of the Russian Armed Forces stationed in critical points of the Zaporozhye region.
“Violations of coordination and control were recorded in units located in the area of the Berdyansk airfield, as well as in units of the Bashkortostan regiment,” Atesh said in a statement.
The lack of stable communications has complicated the operational exchange of data, coordination of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and personnel management, the movement’s agents noted, publishing relevant footage of the sabotage.
