In Norilsk, a 44-year-old individual entrepreneur offered a policeman 1 million rubles to drop a criminal case about the theft of metal pipes. This was reported to the regional investigative committee and the police.
According to preliminary data, the theft complaint was received in mid-October. Law enforcement officers established that a local businessman may be involved in the crime.

On the evening of October 19 in the parking lot of one of the shopping centers on Leninsky Avenue a man offered a large bribe to a police officer to try to avoid arrest.
The entrepreneur was detained while handing over the money. The suspect faces 7 to 12 years in prison under the article on giving a bribe on a large scale. The investigation notes that the man admitted guilt.
In addition, he will be punished for theft under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
