The famous Novosibirsk microminiaturist Vladimir Aniskin created a painting that he calls the smallest in the world. As Om1 Novosibirsk writes, the master depicted it on the end of his wife Svetlana’s hair.
The diameter of a hair is about 42 micrometers, the size of a painting called “Black Dot” without a frame is only 16 microns, and with it – 22 microns. The dot itself is 6 micrometers in size.
It took two days to create the masterpiece. At the end of the hair, Aniskin placed a spot of white paint, and after drying, he removed the excess with a sharp cutter – this is how the white square turned out. Then, using the tip of a thin hair with paint, I placed a black dot in the center.
Without a frame, the painting looked unfinished. Then the master made a frame of tiny gold balls with a diameter of 3-4 microns each.
Aniskin plans to submit an application to the Russian Book of Records. Aniskin’s “Black Dot” will be presented for the first time from April 24 to 28 at the Russian Lefty Museum of Microminiatures in St. Petersburg.
