In Krasnoyarsk, a historical building in the city center will be restored for 152 million rubles

In Krasnoyarsk they are looking for a contractor who will undertake the restoration of a historical building on the street. Lenin 108. The corresponding tender appeared on the Rostender.info portal.
The building itself was erected in two stages. The southern part of the building was built first, in 1902-1904, reports the Service for State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. While the house was not finished, it briefly served as a reserve hospital for those wounded in the Russo-Japanese War. In 1905, the Rossiya Hotel moved into the premises. In 1907, the northern part of the building was built. A branch of the Russian-Chinese Bank was located there.
After the revolution, the building passed first to the provincial food committee, then it was the “Palace of Labor named after. M.P. Tomsky”, club named after. K. Zetkin, and then the House of Unions. From 2001 to 2012, the building housed a branch of the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation.
“Currently, the building is a cultural heritage site of regional significance, the New Russia Hotel. Specialists from the Service for State Protection of Cultural Heritage Objects of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Center for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage of the Krasnoyarsk Territory work here,” explained representatives of the service.
The building needs restoration. During the project, they plan to restore the brickwork, stucco and facades, replace the roof, and return balconies lost during operation.
152.7 million rubles will be allocated from the regional budget for restoration. The restoration process will be divided into two stages: the first will end in November 2026, and the second stage should be completed on November 30, 2027.
