Why do seedlings weaken from the very beginning? The most common mistake is not related to the seeds or soil at all. The problem is buried deeper. The root system is the foundation, and if it is flimsy, the entire plant will be unstable and painful. You can endlessly sprinkle fertilizer on top, but if there is emptiness below, there will be no point.
But there is a method that will help save the situation. The author of the Zen channel “At Grandfather Yegor’s Dacha” (12+) spoke about it.
We're talking about succinic acid. At first glance, it is an ordinary pharmaceutical product, unremarkable in anything. But it is precisely in this simplicity that its strength lies.
“The plant stops 'throwing' between growth and survival. It begins to work systematically,” the author notes.
Take 2 tablets of succinic acid, 100 milligrams each. They need to be crushed into powder to make the composition homogeneous. Then the powder is dissolved in one liter of warm water.
The water should not be cold or boiling water. Warm liquid helps the substance to fully open. After mixing, it is better to wait 15-20 minutes. During this time, the solution will stabilize and become as effective as possible.
When to water: three main stages
The most important point is not to miss the right phase of development. The first watering is done when the seedlings have 2-3 true leaves. This is the moment when the plant is ready to accept the stimulant and send it to the roots.
The second watering is carried out after 10 days. At this stage, the root system is already beginning to actively grow, and additional support enhances the effect. You can pour the solution under the root or lightly spray the leaves.
The third stage is a couple of days before planting in the ground. This is a kind of preparation for adult life. The plant gains a reserve of strength, tolerates replanting more easily, takes root faster and immediately begins to grow.
What result will you see
The leaves become denser and richer in color. The stem becomes thicker, and a feeling of strength appears.
When the time comes for transplantation and you take the lump out of the glass, everything becomes clear. There are not just a few roots – there is a dense network of them. They are alive, active, powerful.
