Zbigniew Jakubowski is the new president of Millennium TFI. Change of boss after 25 years

Zbigniew Jakubowski was previously, among others, from 2024, vice-president of the management board of Quercus TFI, responsible for the Investment Department. In the years 2019-2023, he served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Asset Management companies of the Generali Group in the CEE region. From April 2022 to July 2023, he held the position of president of the management board of GI TFI CIO/CEO.
Robert Borecki managed Millennium TFI from the very beginning, i.e. from the moment of obtaining the KNF license in 2001. Previously, he was, among others, member of the management board of the BIG-BG Brokerage House responsible, among others, for brokerage services for institutional clients and asset management. Millennium TFI, under his leadership, began its operations in 2002 by offering clients the first three standard open funds investing on the Polish stock and debt markets. Over time, the offer was successively supplemented with new, diversified strategies, including actively investing in foreign markets.
At the end of 2025, Millennium TFI was ranked 9th in terms of assets in Poland, they were worth PLN 11 billion – according to data from Analiz Online. TFI states that it now manages assets amounting to over PLN 11 billion, invested by over 200,000 clients in 26 sub-funds with various investment strategies, including the recently introduced index funds.
