Krasnoyarsk youth center “Baza” presented a report on its work for 2025, talking about the updated concept, projects and key indicators.
Last year, the institution changed its name – previously it operated as the Youth Center for Information Technologies. At the same time, the concept also changed: the emphasis was placed on the development of educational, creative and festival formats, as well as support for youth initiatives. Today Baza is developing several key areas: e-sports, physical sports and media.
The Youth Center also organizes major city events, including:
- “Siberian SMM” is an event aimed at developing young people in the field of working with social networks;
- “CyberYAR” is an e-sports all-around competition that took place in six disciplines: dodgeball, lapta, table tennis, as well as the cyber disciplines CS 2, Rocket League and Dota 2.
In 2025, the center held more than 40 events, in which over 5 thousand young residents of Krasnoyarsk took part. At this time, “Base” became the main point of attraction for young eSports fans; specialists gave talented children the opportunity to express themselves at a tournament among schools, universities and VET.
In addition, under the leadership of the institution’s employees, the “Picnic #your_time” was held in the city, which united all youth centers and areas of youth policy in the regional center.
There are clubs and sections running at the Base on an ongoing basis. The center provides open spaces for work and creativity: a cyberclass, a phygital zone and an Open Studio media coworking space with professional equipment. Lectures, trainings and meetings with experts take place here.
