In the Krasnoyarsk Territory over the past weekend, during the NMU regime, several environmental violations were recorded and fines amounting to half a million rubles were issued.

The Ministry of Environment said that since the beginning of the week they have carried out 14 more inspections at control sites, and about 20 more are in progress. The control will be completed before the NMU regime is lifted – until 19:00 on January 22.

“The operational group of environmental supervision inspectors, the mobile environmental laboratory and employees of the regional center for monitoring environmental quality continue to work in an intensive mode. Specialists work around the clock. During raids and inspections, close attention is paid to both large industrial production and small companies that have sources of emissions,” the department’s press service noted.

The regional Minister of Ecology, Vladimir Chasovitin, called on enterprises to continue measures to reduce emissions during the period of the NMU regime. Residents should also refuse to carry out work that leads to air pollution.
