Neither Elon Musk nor the company's chief operating officer, Linda Yaccarino, showed up for the scheduled hearing. The prosecutor's office in Paris confirmed that the summons had not been implemented, while emphasizing that the absence of key management persons would not stop the ongoing proceedings.

- Crime content: The prosecutor's office is investigating the company's possible involvement in storing child pornography.
- Deepfakes: It's about spreading false, sexual images created by artificial intelligence.

France at war with technology giants
The Platform X case is not an isolated case, but an element of a broader strategy of the Paris prosecutor's office, led by Laure Beccuau. French investigators are currently conducting an offensive against the largest players on the network. Similar proceedings concern, for example, the Telegram messenger, the Kick streaming platform and the TikTok application.
All these investigations have a common denominator: the fight for user safety online and the enforcement of strict personal data protection regulations. Musk's lack of cooperation may result in further sanctions in the future, including attempts to restrict the platform's operations in France or high financial penalties.
