A 36-year-old Krasnoyarsk resident is accused of murdering his 63-year-old mother, the Investigative Committee reported.
The crime was committed in a hostel on 26 Baku Commissars Street, where the attacker lived with his parent. According to the investigation, the man systematically abused alcohol, which is why domestic conflicts often arose between relatives.
“On April 15, during another quarrel, the son stabbed his mother several times in the neck. She died on the spot from her injuries. As a result of competently conducted investigative actions and operational search activities, the location of the person involved was established. A criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention,” the Investigative Committee said.
