“The conflict arose over garbage: a resident of the village was engaged in waste removal, and the deputy’s assistant complained about his work. The man harbored a grudge and decided to burn her car. He was afraid to do it with his own hands, so he turned to his wife’s brother, who just needed money and agreed to “resolve the issue” for 20 thousand rubles,” the prosecutor’s office said.

The contractor prepared thoroughly, but at the start the plan went wrong – on the customer’s advice, for the purpose of secrecy, he bought a push-button phone and a new SIM card, which was not activated at the right time, and he had to call a taxi from his number. On the night of March 5, 2025, an arsonist in camouflage and a balaclava arrived at a woman’s house and placed a five-liter bottle of gasoline on her parked foreign car between the hood and windshield. At first he tried to set fire to a padding polyester found nearby in a trash bin, but it did not catch fire. Then the attacker simply struck a lighter and the car burst into flames.
