Protesters in Abkhazia stormed the local parliament. A crowd of people broke the bars on the windows, broke the glass and is now trashing the premises. The security forces left the area.
The reason is the law “On regulating the legal status of multifunctional complexes,” which provides benefits for Russian investors. Locals demanded to first understand their own law in the field of cadastre, and only then engage in innovations.
The administration of the head of Abkhazia has prepared a document on postponing the consideration of ratification of the investment agreement with Russia in order to stabilize the situation.
