SUEK-Krasnoyarsk summed up the results of 2025 and identified plans and tasks for the current period

At JSC SUEK-Krasnoyarsk there was a direct line between General Director Evgeny Yevtushenko and the workforce.
The head of the company, in an online meeting, summed up the results of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, and also answered questions from employees of the Borodino, Berezovsky, Nazarovsky open-pit mines and the Borodino loading and transport department.
The key topics were production results, labor safety, wages and social guarantees.
Opening the meeting, Evgeny Yevtushenko thanked the teams for their daily work and named the main achievements of the past year. In 2025, the company produced a record 37.6 million tons of coal. The Berezovsky open-pit mine showed the best results over the past 25 years, the Nazarovsky mine exceeded the production plan for coal production, and the Borodinsky, together with railway workers, shipped over 24.8 million tons of fuel to consumers. A landmark event of last year was the shipment of the 2 billionth ton of coal, an achievement of SUEK-Krasnoyarsk enterprises that has no analogues in the Russian coal industry.
The General Director emphasized that the Company’s absolute priority is labor safety; for this purpose, many activities are being implemented at enterprises and modern digital solutions are being introduced.
The modernization of unique mining equipment operating at the Krasnoyarsk open-pit mines continues – deep upgrades make it possible to increase the efficiency of equipment by an average of 30%, and an import substitution program is being implemented. Enterprises receive modern auxiliary equipment – bulldozers, loaders, graders and other equipment.
Evgeny Yevtushenko indicated that the Russian coal mining industry is going through difficult times today, but Krasnoyarsk enterprises manage to maintain a stable position thanks to the demand for thermal coal in the domestic market and reliably ensure the energy security of the Siberian region.
During the direct line, employees received answers to questions about organizing production processes, remuneration and wage indexation, social benefits and career growth programs.
The company maintains a high level of social support, the priority of which remains the health of employees and their children; funds are allocated for sanatorium treatment, summer vacations and compensation for travel to and from the vacation destination – a benefit that is not available in all large companies.
The personnel agenda also became one of the important topics of the meeting. Despite the fact that the staffing level at SUEK-Krasnoyarsk enterprises is 99%, the company is constantly carrying out comprehensive work to form a personnel reserve.
“We work closely with the Astafiev Mining College, the Nazarovsky Energy Construction College, the Sharypovsky Multidisciplinary College, and the Siberian Federal University. Today, 86 students have targeted contracts with the company. They are paid a stipend, they undergo paid internships at our enterprises, the company compensates for accommodation in dormitories of educational institutions and travel to the place of internship. Upon completion of training, graduates are guaranteed to get a job with us,” said Evgeniy Yevtushenko.
SUEK-Krasnoyarsk pays special attention to youth – about 1,000 specialists under the age of 35 work here. Last year, 39 young specialists joined the coal mining team.
“At our enterprises, we once again have active youth communities – Youth Councils, which participate not only in production processes, but also in the public life of enterprises and cities. This makes me happy. We need such proactive, responsible youth who can think creatively and make innovative decisions. Therefore, the development of young specialists is always our focus,” noted the company’s general director.
In 2026, SUEK-Krasnoyarsk coal miners plan to produce 36.6 million tons of coal; they worked in the first quarter with a slight overfulfillment of the production plan.
“Today we are in a difficult economic situation; we are faced with new difficult tasks. Therefore, it is important to direct efforts to increase labor productivity and increase production efficiency. I am confident that we will cope with all plans and tasks,” summed up the General Director of SUEK-Krasnoyarsk.
