January 26 HACS Appeals Chamber rejected Tymoshenko's complaint according to the preventive measure chosen by her in the form of bail, however, the politician was allowed to communicate with people’s deputies and move freely throughout the territory of Ukraine.
February 16, HACS Appeals Chamber lifted the seizure of part of the property Yulia Tymoshenko and her husband Alexander Tymoshenko. The court also canceled the seizure of $6.3 thousand seized during the NABU search.
On February 26, NABU complied with the court decision of the Appeals Chamber of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court and returned to Tymoshenko the funds seized from her during the search. According to the lawyer, the return of funds is “the next step towards restoring justice” and confirmation that the entire case against the Batkivshchyna leader is falsified and the charges brought are illegal.
