The Boguchanskaya HPP volunteer project became one of the winners of the RusHydro grant competition

One of the three projects prepared by volunteers of the Boguchanskaya HPP for the grant competition of the RusHydro Group will receive funding. At the beginning of 2026, volunteers will be transferred 100 thousand rubles for the renovation of the small sports hall of Kodinsky school No. 4 named after. V.N. Zabortseva. The goal of the project is to create aesthetically favorable conditions for sports, giving a modern and attractive look to the training room. The initiative group included employees of the station’s administrative and economic department, parents of schoolchildren involved in various sports sections, teachers and school administration employees.

Kodinskaya school No. 4 was opened in 1991 and today is the largest in terms of the number of students in the Kezhemsky municipal district. The youngest elementary school students studying in grades 1-2 practice in an additional small gym. According to volunteer energy workers, many of whom are actively involved in the sports life of the city and district, the gym should create motivation in children to constantly engage in physical education and sports.

“Everything in the gym should attract children: equipment, equipment, a special environment – aesthetic, with bright colors in the design, with the correct markings and motivators in the form of figures of famous athletes. Our project “The World of Inexhaustible Energy” will help bring a small gym into compliance with standards for teaching physical education and extracurricular sections,” said project initiator Marina Baus.

The volunteer movement at the Boguchanskaya HPP is becoming more active every year; among the authors of the “World of Inexhaustible Energy” project there are activists who have already taken part in the implementationethe establishment of other public initiatives in the city of Kodinsk. In 2025 The volunteer group of the Boguchanskaya HPP implemented the “Youth Residence” project – station workers and young townspeople carried out a comprehensive renovation of the premises of the Youth Center. In the spring of 2024, station employees, as part of the “Bright Colors” project, decorated the walls of the children’s department of the Kezhemsky District Hospital with murals. Another group of volunteers used corporate grant funds for the “Let’s Relax in the Whole Yard” project and installed a children’s play complex in one of the courtyards of Kodinsk.

The competition of corporate volunteer projects of the RusHydro Group is aimed at developing corporate volunteering, identifying and replicating the best practices of the executive office, branches and controlled organizations of PJSC RusHydro, and popularizing the role of a corporate volunteer. Among the priority areas of the competition: education, ecology, healthcare, sports, culture, improvement, helping children, the needy and the poor, caring for animals. Every year, twenty winners of the competition receive grants of 100,000 rubles from the RusHydro company for the implementation of their projects.
