In Krasnoyarsk, people with dementia and their relatives are invited to free meetings in the altscafe

13 April 18:20
Krasnoyarsk residents were told about free meetings for people with dementia and their relatives in the Forget-Me-Not altscafe.
Alzcafe is a special support format common in Europe. The idea was adapted and implemented by the Altsrus Foundation. There are currently 11 such “Forget-Me-Nots” operating in the country. In Krasnoyarsk, meetings take place on Krasnomoskovskaya Street, 42 at the “Good Deed” volunteer center.
Guests are offered tea parties, dancing to songs of past years, master classes and performances by artists.
For relatives who care for patients around the clock, this is an opportunity to distract themselves, communicate with people in a similar situation and reduce emotional stress. For people with dementia themselves, it is a chance to maintain social skills, not feel isolated, and establish contact with loved ones.
The next meeting will take place on April 25 at 11:00. Pre-registration is required.
