In Krasnoyarsk, Rospotrebnadzor achieved the closure of a tobacco store, which was located next to a kindergarten on Metallurgov Avenue. The distance from it to the child care facility was only 74.5 meters, although by law it should be at least 100 meters.
Representatives of Rospotrebnadzor filed a lawsuit. The management's requirements were satisfied. But the outlet continued to operate – this was confirmed by a control visit carried out three months later.
“Through the glass insert at the entrance, the products sold on the shelves were clearly visible. Moreover, it turned out that the entrepreneur did not transmit information about the turnover of products to the “Honest Sign” system at all, and there were no sales receipts in the GIS MT,” the press service said.
To confirm the fact of work, the Department’s specialists conducted a test purchase. After this, it was decided to initiate a case of an administrative offense and seize the products being sold.
The seizure was imposed on more than 500 units of nicotine-containing and alternative tobacco products with a total value of over 400 thousand rubles. Case materials regarding IP Gurbanov M.I. sent to court. The entrepreneur faces a fine with confiscation of the items of the administrative offense. Only after this the entrepreneur closed the store.
Rospotrebnadzor noted that in 2025, similar measures were taken in relation to 16 retail outlets near schools and kindergartens. Department employees ask Krasnoyarsk residents to report such violations to them through a special form on the website.
