“United Russia” summed up the development of the sports infrastructure of the Krasnoyarsk Territory at the forum “There is a result!”

The second platform of the United Russia forum “There is a result!” was held in Krasnoyarsk under the title “Sport – the health of the nation.”

In this format, United Russia sums up the results of the implementation of the people's program, with which the party won the elections in 2021, and also, together with the residents of the region, forms proposals for a new people's program.

Over the past five years, the projects of the “Children’s Sports” and “Choice of the Strong” party have been successfully implemented in the region, new infrastructure has appeared – football arenas and a whole network of physical education clubs in the area of residence have appeared in the region. All this became possible thanks to funding from the industry under the initiative of United Russia. In total, more than 50 billion rubles were allocated from the budget for these purposes. The results of the work were verified using the example of the Solnechny microdistrict in Krasnoyarsk.

Chairman of the committee on sports, youth policy, tourism and development of the social environment of the regional parliament, regional coordinator of the party project “Urban Environment” Alexander Novikov, deputies from the “United Russia” City Council of Krasnoyarsk and the regional parliament, representatives of sports organizations, coaches visited various sports facilities. The new football arena is the most modern in the whole city; young athletes from the Rotor Olympic reserve sports school are based here.

The mother of a young football player, Anastasia: “Ilya has been playing football since he was five years old. The conditions in the arena are excellent. The child is in comfortable conditions throughout the year. Warm, light, dry, special coating. When we played in the autumn-spring period on an open field, it was rain, ice, snow, wet, slippery. In an indoor arena, all this is excluded, and the guys train all year long. Now we are starting tournaments and we believe that our results will improve.”

The participants also toured the Solnechny sports and recreation complex. The facility has been operating for 15 years, there are multifunctional and gymnasiums, classes in adaptive sports are held, and a variety of areas are developed, from classical gaming to fencing. The “New Generation School” also operates here, where high school students are trained to work with drones.

An example of public-private partnership was the Combat Sports Center, which opened last year. Currently, it trains more than 450 children in eight types of martial arts free of charge.

With the support of United Russia, sports festivals are held in the region and adaptive sports are being developed.

“A lot of work has been done in various areas. We engage in outdoor sports, school sports, and hold various events and festivals as part of the summer health campaign. This allows children to be effectively involved in physical education and sports. We send the children who are the winners of the regional stages of our regional party competitions to the federal stages. For children, participation in All-Russian competitions is an incentive for further participation in sports and physical education. I would like to note that we have a large team. Many thanks to our local colleagues, in municipalities, activists, and party members,” said Pavel Rostovtsev, regional coordinator of the “Children’s Sports” party project.

The results of five years of work were summed up by Alexander Novikov during the round table: “Around the region, we have good results in implementing the development of sports. We have large physical culture and health complexes in 18 municipalities of the region. During this period, we introduced a new subsidy for territories for the construction of small projects in small towns and rural areas. A total of 16 such facilities have already been built. They allow year-round sports activities. This year, 180 million rubles have been allocated for such sports facilities. There are also plans to continue and increase their construction. We are building flat sports grounds, about 30-35 per year, during the reporting period we built almost 200 of them. We are strengthening the material and technical base of our municipal schools, building GTO grounds, the infrastructure is developing. We are moving towards achieving the national goals set by the President of our country regarding the share of citizens systematically involved in sports.”

The event participants also discussed and made proposals for the new people's program. Anyone can submit their proposal; there is a special website for this purpose, estrezult.rf.
