As a result of an accident on the highway in the Kozul municipal district, one person died.
Today, at the 689th kilometer of the R-255 Siberia highway, a 56-year-old driver of a MAN car was moving from Krasnoyarsk in the direction of Achinsk and drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a DAF driven by a 45-year-old driver.
“As a result of the accident, the driver of the DAF died before the ambulance arrived. The driver of the second car was not injured,” the State Traffic Inspectorate reported.
A police investigative team and traffic police officers are working at the scene.
The State Traffic Inspectorate urges vehicle drivers to be extremely careful and not make rash maneuvers on the road.
