In Krasnoyarsk, a new temporary sewer collector is being built on Semafornaya Street, KrasKom reported.

Its length is about 200 meters. Now the lashes of the sewer “makeshift” are being welded together. It will allow pumping wastewater that comes from almost the entire right bank of Krasnoyarsk, bypassing the failure. Only after this will it be possible to pump out water from the damaged area and begin repair work.

In addition, KrasKom crews are flushing the existing 1,200-millimeter-diameter collector with high-pressure water to remove gravel that entered the pipeline at the time of the collapse.

Due to the accident, the through passage along Semafornaya Street in the area of ​​the Michurinsky Bridge is still completely blocked for traffic. The city Department of Roads, Infrastructure and Improvement said that in order to normalize the road situation in the area, they changed the traffic light settings.

“The goal is to pass traffic flows that have changed their usual route as efficiently as possible. Thus, at the intersections of Semafornaya and Parovoznaya, Semafornaya and Transportny Proezd streets, the traffic lights operate in yellow flashing mode, since there is no large adjacent flow of traffic and pedestrians.
