227 residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory became participants in the “Employment – Veterans Service” campaign

Within the framework of the annual action, social assistance veterans, participants in a special military operation and their family receive social assistance. Since April, 227 residents of the region have become its participants.

The event involves citizens sent by the employment service to paid public work, as well as adolescents working in their free time from study. They help the household, take care of the gardens, repair houses, fences, other outbuildings, deliver products and medicines. Now assistance has already been provided to 92 citizens.

In Norilsk, for example, adolescents participating in the shares organized the purchase of food and medicines necessary for the mother of a special operation.

“Thank you for the help and support. It is important to realize that there are people nearby who are ready to come to the rescue. I really hope that such events will take place in the future, ”Norilchanka said.

In addition to the social support of veterans, participants in the action are also engaged in the improvement of commemorative places and places of burial. In Sosnovoborsk, for example, activists helped in preparations for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory: they landed the alley of glory, the memorial to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, designed the festive attributes of the site for events.

The action will last until the end of summer. It is part of the measures for the organization of paid public works and temporary employment, which are included in the state program of the Krasnoyarsk Territory “Employment Assistance”.

In total, this year the employment service helped to find constant and temporary work more than 15 thousand applicants. The unemployment rate today is 0.6%, it is equal to the average value in the Siberian Federal District.
