The parade was previously planned so that it coincides from the Navy, celebrated in Russia on the last Sunday of July.
According to the local press, in the Naval Day plan, there is still a wreaths with the participation of government officials and a concert at Palace Square.

The main parade of the Russian Navy has been organized in St. Petersburg since 2017. The celebrations take place in two places simultaneously – in the port of Kronstad and on Senacki Square.
Until now, the first point of the program was the presentation of the northern, Baltic, Black Sea and Caspian fleet, as well as the Pacific Fleet Air Fleet.
In 2024, part of the parade in Kronstadada was dismissed.
