Tudor Chirilă, unleashed against Nicușor Dan, whom he accuses of “betrayal” and of being infected by “psedism”: “Maybe you are happy with Stockholm syndrome”

The singer and actor Tudor Chirilă, known for his social activism, sent a direct message to President Nicușor Dan, accusing him in harsh terms of “betraying” through the appointments made at the head of the big prosecutor's offices.
“Mr. Nicușor Dan, yesterday you became the country's first pesedist. In fact, you became the country's first uselist. It is probably the fastest transformation of a politician in recent years. Also yesterday, through the appointments you accepted at the heads of the prosecutor's offices, you committed a series of betrayals,” Tudor Chirilă wrote on Thursday in a message published on his Facebook page.
“You have betrayed the expectations of those who voted for you and who hoped that honest Romania means institutions led by competent people, not by loyalists of the political security mafia. You have betrayed the values that you have apparently promoted only declaratively in recent years: institutional reform, independent justice, functional justice,” he continued.
Accusing the president of ignoring the negative opinions regarding some of the prosecutors proposed by PSD Minister Radu Marinescu, Chirilă also states that President Nicușor Dan “knowingly ignored the work of honest journalists who not infrequently did their job amidst intimidation and death threats”.
Chirilă accuses Nicușor Dan of joining “extremists disguised as patriots”
“You ignored the messages and opinions of well-known professionals in the justice system. After the Recorder documentary, an unprecedented media offensive led by convict television, facade sovereignists, aurists, pesedists or penelists, as well as the Savonea gang, the expression of the justice mafia, was unleashed against all those who criticized the justice system. You joined this offensive yesterday, being on the same page as the dyed-in-the-wool extremists in patriots who quietly jubilate that things are going in the direction of selective justice, the one that defends the right people,” Tudor Chirilă also wrote.
He also accused the president that, since taking office, he did not use the tools and prerogatives that would have allowed him to give the signal that the campaign promises “are not cheap magic”.
“Like chairing a CSM meeting, being present in a government meeting alongside the plagiarist Marinescu, for example, or simply communicating that much more is needed than the recycling of people who are part of a retrograde system,” Chirilă exemplified.
He continued the series of accusations:
“Perhaps you are happy with the Stockholm syndrome and believe that Romania can reform with its aggressors. I dare say that most of those who voted for you do not want to accept that. I, at least, do not want to accept that.”
Nicușor Dan, accused of being “infected so quickly” by “pedestism”
Chirilă also criticized one of the statements made by Nicușor Dan in his press conference on Wednesday evening.
“I also understand that from your point of view you consider that the opinion leaders are not assuming anything and that you are assuming four years to the vote. Let me tell you what the opinion leaders and those who voted for you are assuming: the loss of another five years of their lives, five years in which they watch how the president who promised an honest Romania acts in the opposite sense of the campaign promises. I suspect that you also notice the hypocrisy of your own statements from which it appears that opinions are good as long as they serve a result in the campaign, right? Well, the sad thing is that the civil society that you indirectly used remained in positions vis a vis what an honest Romania should look like, not you”, wrote the Romanian singer and actor.
“All that's left is to celebrate the union with Grindeanu, Ponta, Simion, Georgescu, Antonescu and a few more discreet boys from the services somewhere in a celebration hall in Cotroceni, after which you will announce national reconciliation and the second mandate in a solemn tone,” he continued.
“The pesedism, fesenism and securism that you seem to have become infected with so quickly, Mr. Nicușor Dan, most often mean villainy of the lowest kind. You are heading there quickly. But, of course, you have the opportunity to contradict me with facts. Yesterday you missed. SRI and SIE are next,” he concluded his message.
