Ukrainian culinary specialist of Colombian origin Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared a recipe for boiled pork on Instagram.
“Why buy baked meat if you can make it yourself? You will definitely like this recipe: boiled pork will not be dry and is ideal for slicing and other recipes!” – noted the cook.
Ingredients:
- pork – 1 kg;
- ketchup – 2 tbsp. l.;
- mustard beans – 1 tbsp. l.;
- paprika.
Ingredients for marinade:
- water – 500 ml;
- salt – 1 tbsp. l.;
- garlic – three cloves;
- bay leaf – 3 pcs.;
- peppercorns – 1 tsp;
- grated ginger – 1 tsp;
- thyme – 1 tsp;
- oregano – 1 tsp.
Preparation
- Mix all the ingredients for the marinade. Dip the meat into it until it is completely covered with liquid. Place in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- Remove pork and pat dry with paper towel. Wrap first in parchment paper and then tightly wrap in foil.
- Place the boiled pork in the multi-bake oven (or oven). Bake for 60 minutes at 160°C.
- Mix ketchup, mustard and paprika. Carefully remove the meat, unwrap the foil and parchment. Apply the prepared sauce to the entire surface of the boiled pork.
- Bake the already opened meat for another 15 minutes.
“This dish will definitely decorate your Easter table and will not leave your guests indifferent,” assured Jimenez-Bravo.
