In anticipation of the celebration of the Anniversary of the Great Victory, the Siberian Generating Company presented the unique book “80 moments of war”.

The memorable publication contains 80 stories of energy-frutics, who fought for our freedom during the war, and in peacetime developed the energy industry of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Glossy pages will carefully store the collected stories as a memory of a heroic feat.

The presentation of the memorable publication was held at the Krasnoyarsk TPP-2. The guests at the station were greeted by an honor. The atmosphere of the holiday was created by the songs of the war years. And, probably, it seemed to everyone that now those to whom we owe a peaceful life would be included in the open doors of the assembly hall. However, years are inexorably running, and combat wounds no longer disturb them. To get a memorable publication, relatives and close heroes of the book arrived at the station – each at the entrance was attached to the chest of St. George as a symbol of victory and invincibility.

Titenkov’s father Sergei Afanasevich stood at the origins of the construction of the Krasnoyarsk TPP-1, worked as a joiner. “He was not allowed to the front, deployed in Novosibirsk and sent back to Krasnoyarsk to build a station. Energy was needed by the city, the factories who evacuated here. I remember helping him a boy. It was difficult, but we all coped with it, ”recalls Sergey Afanasevich. He himself continued his father’s work-he worked at the CHP-1 for more than 40 years.

A large team worked on the creation of the book. The work has been done serious. All stories are autobiographical, and maintaining their primordiality was especially important. The result is impressive: each page is filled with an atmosphere of those terrible years, transferring the reader to the fields of combat battles or to the rear, where everyone worked for the sake of approaching the long -awaited victory.

Materials on the topic

“It was the most difficult to collect information. For 80 years, a lot has been lost – some of the archives were simply lost. Therefore, information was obtained from various sources. We took documents and materials in the regional library, archives, editorial offices of regional print media, on special historical sites. We talked a lot with relatives. So, by bit, we collected every story, ”Vyacheslav Shamansky shared one of the authors of the book.

Next to the memories of front-line everyday life and difficult trials of those years were located chronicles of the construction of the Krasnoyarsk TPP-1. Building an energy facility as soon as possible. The builders did not spare themselves and did everything in their power. The first turbine weighing several tons was tightened into the winches. On May 16, 1943, the Krasnoyarsk TPP accepted the first load of factories – industrial steam and electricity went. It was a real breakthrough, a labor feat of power engineers – everything for the front, everything for victory!

“The book“ 80 moments of war ”is a tribute to the generation of winners. This is not just a collection of memoirs, these are the voices of veterans, who selflessly defended their homeland with weapons in their hands, and then worked to light cities and villages, give the country energy for further development. Our duty is to preserve these memories, this sacred memory and pass on to future generations, ”said Oleg Bubnovsky, General Director of the Yenisei TGK (TGK-13).

The book “80 moments of war” will be stored in family archives and passed down from generation to generation. The publication will also be located on the shelves of school and city libraries and in museums.
