Doctors in the Krasnoyarsk Territory will receive monthly compensation for rent

April 8 10:59
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, they are considering draft amendments to the law on compensation for rental costs for medical workers.
The amendment was initiated by deputies of the Legislative Assembly representing the northern territories. Chairman of the Northern Committee of Parliament Lyudmila Magomedova noted that they often receive requests from the Arctic zone with a request to reconsider the existing order. The problem is that now payments are made quarterly, and housing fees are paid monthly. Thus, for example, Norilsk residents need to find 120 thousand rubles in their budget to pay for three months of accommodation and only then receive compensation.
The proposed changes will allow compensation to be paid every month, reducing the financial burden on medical workers.
Ilya Zaitsev, chairman of the relevant committee, noted that “updating the law will make the support measure more convenient and will allow us to successfully resolve the personnel issue in the region’s medical institutions and attract specialists to the industry. Time has shown that this is an effective tool that is in great demand among doctors.”
Over two years, about 1,600 medical workers received compensation; more than 170 million rubles were allocated for these purposes from the regional budget.
The bill will be considered in the first reading at the next session on April 16.
