On April 4, the author of the Ukrainian culinary YouTube channel “Prosti Recipes” shared a recipe for incredibly tasty paska with lard.
“Why is everyone silent that paska with lard is so delicious?” – asked the blogger.
For the dough:

- 250 ml warm milk;
- 3 tbsp. l. flour.
For the test:
- two eggs;
- 120 g sugar;
- 0.5 tsp. turmeric;
- 1 tsp. vanilla sugar;
- 0.5 tsp. salt;
- 100 g lard;
- 500 g flour;
- vegetable oil – for hands;
- 150 g dried fruits.
Preparation:
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk, add sugar and flour. Stir and leave in a warm place for the dough to rise.
- Add eggs, sugar, turmeric, vanilla sugar, salt and lard to the prepared dough.
- Gradually add flour and knead into a soft elastic dough.
- First fill dried fruits or raisins with hot water, then dry well and mix into the dough.
- Cover the dough and leave in a warm place until it rises well. After this, divide the dough into parts, place in molds and leave to rise again until the dough has increased in volume.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C until done. Baking time depends on the size of the pans and oven.
