The Krasnoyarsk mayor's office told and showed how the city streets are decorated for Victory Day.
Thus, banners and red flags have already been placed at elevated pedestrian crossings along Weinbaum and Partizan Zheleznyak streets, as well as at the Oktyabrsky Bridge.
An installation of cubes with the dates of the Great Patriotic War was traditionally installed on Yaryginskaya embankment.
Flag compositions and various flagpoles will be installed at roundabouts, intersections, parks and squares. They will appear on Bridge Square, in Gvardeisky, Gagarin, Solnechnaya Polyana parks, Cosmonauts Square, on the street 60 years of the formation of the USSR and at the sculptural composition “Under the Banner of Victory” on Sverdlovskaya. Red flags will also be hung on lighting poles along the Oktyabrsky and Kommunalny bridges, Shakhterov, Igarskaya, Popova and Sverdlovskaya streets.
“The concept of decorating Krasnoyarsk for May 9 is annually developed by the Department of Architecture, and the decoration of the city is carried out by MAU Krasgorpark,” the administration recalled in the telegram channel of the GradVestnik administration.
