In the next period, CFR Călători and CFR SA will organize new employment competitions, after the completion of the procedures recently launched by the state railway operator and the railway infrastructure administrator, notes CFIR.ro.

At CFR Călători, several regional branches put important positions out to tender.
In Galaţi, on April 23, a competition will be organized for a position of technical reviewer of wagons I. In Iași, on April 21, three competitions are scheduled for the positions of shift leaders at the Iasi Depot, SELC Bacău and Suceava Depot. In Cluj, on the same date, there will be four competitions for train conductors, two at Dej CF Station and two at Cluj-Napoca Station.
And CFR SA put several positions up for competition.
In Galați, on April 23, a competition is being organized for a position of engineer I at the Electrification Service. In Brașov, on April 22, an engineer II is being sought at the Patrimonial Affairs Service. In Craiova, the contests will take place on April 20 and 21 for SCB fitter 2 and economist III positions. In Bucharest, on April 16, several fitters and engineers positions will be put up for competition in the various departments.
We remind you that employment at CFR Călători had been canceled at the beginning of last year due to the provisions of the Trenuleț Ordinance (OG 156/2024), but they were later resumed. In parallel, the general manager Traian Preoteasa ordered that the extra hours worked by the employees be compensated only with free time, which led to the temporary suspension of some trains.
Hiring restrictions also apply to CFR SA and Metrorex, and some measures have been tightened in the context of austerity policies. At the end of last year, Metrorex canceled all contests, including the ongoing ones, the unblocking of recruitments was realized later.
