According to him, consulting companies Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey are leaders in their field.
“My wife worked at McKinsey, I worked at BCG, we didn’t talk about work at home. There was an interesting story when, as they call it, the daughter-in-law of Pyotr Alekseevich [Порошенко, пятого президента Украины] was supposed to go to work at BCG, and my wife lured her to McKinsey. They gave me a lot of bullshit for this. And I say, well, I lured her away. I didn’t even know who she was dating there,” he said.
Smelyansky explained that Poroshenko’s daughter-in-law received a very good education and really valuable experience, which is why both companies fought for her.
