Tehran's response after Trump's speech: The war will continue until you regret it forever

Iran's military said on Thursday it would carry out “devastating” attacks against the United States and Israel, after US President Donald Trump threatened to return Iran to the “stone age” with massive bombing in the coming weeks.
“With trust in God Almighty, this war will continue until your humiliation, dishonor, final regrets and surrender,” the army's operational command, Khatam al-Anbiya, said in a statement broadcast on state television.
“Expect even more crushing, far-reaching and destructive actions,” the Iranian military leadership added.
This reaction from Tehran came after Trump said overnight that the war in Iran “is almost over” but the US will strike hard in the coming weeks: “We will send them back to the stone age”.
The financial markets reacted negatively to the exit of the American president and the idea of prolonging the war: the price of oil rose even more, stocks fell.
Warning to Americans in Iraq
The United States Embassy in Baghdad warned in a statement broadcast on X on Thursday that pro-Iranian Iraqi armed groups could launch attacks against the city in the next two days.
“Iraqi terrorist militias allied with Iran could launch attacks in central Baghdad in the next 24-48 hours,” she said, again calling on Americans present in Iraq to leave the country immediately.
Iraq was drawn into the Middle East war triggered on February 28 by the American-Israeli offensive against Iran.
