The Chinese giant enters Poland. We know when the first factory will start

The company from China will open a polymer processing plant in Opole for the automotive and industrial industries. One of the arguments for the location of the factory in Poland was the strategic geographical location of the CT Park, as well as the possibility of adapting its infrastructure to the specific technological requirements of the Chinese manufacturer. According to Piotr Merta, Business Developer at CTP Polska, Asian investors are increasingly deciding to develop their projects in Central and Eastern Europe.
– For enterprises from outside Europe, the predictability of supply chains, access to EU markets and an attractive cost structure are crucial today, and Poland combines all these advantages in one location – says Piotr Merta “New Opole Tribune”.

The Chinese factory will be built in Opole
The factory will not need to be built from scratch, because the building in Opole was already prepared for production activities, only its adaptation to the specifics of polymer production, including Appropriate energy supply, increased connection power, installation of photovoltaic panels. The Chinese want to quickly move their technology here and start operating.
– Entering the Polish market is for our company another step in strengthening global presence – said Hao Gong, R&D Engineer, Shanghai Pret Composites, quoted by Property News.

Shanghai Pret Composites is not the first Chinese concern from the automotive industry, which chose Poland for its “stop” in global business development. This year, cars of the Chinese automotive brand Chery have already appeared on our market, which introduced its premiere car models here. He also considers the possibility of opening production in Poland – at the beginning of July he talked about it in an interview with Business Insider Charlie Zhang, Vice President of Chery Automobile.
– Poland is known for its very solid supply chain in the automotive industry and this makes it really attractive. I also know that some other manufacturers already have their own plants here – said Zhang in an interview.
