Two parents from Constanța are no longer allowed to approach their children within 100 meters, after they were reported to the police for hitting them. The children were removed from the family and placed in a center, IPJ Constanța announces, in a statement quoted by Replica Online.
The police were alerted on March 27, around 9:30 p.m., “about the fact that two minors, aged 12 and 16 respectively, were physically assaulted by their parents.”
“Following the checks carried out, the police found that the reports are confirmed, as their parents have been identified, a 47-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman,” IPJ Constanța reported.
According to the police, the minors were beaten by their father between March 25 and 26.
“According to the legal provisions, the police evaluated the actual situation based on the risk assessment form, finding that there is an imminent risk that the life, physical integrity or freedom of the persons will be endangered by an act of domestic violence. Thus, the police issued a provisional protection order, the two parents being obliged to keep a minimum distance of 100 meters from the minors”, stated the Constanța Police.

At the same time, the police collaborated with the representatives of DGASPC Constanța, and the two minors were withdrawn from the family environment and placed in a center.
At the same time, in relation to their father, the police decided that he should be detained for 24 hours, being placed in the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center.
“On Saturday, March 28, it will be presented to the case prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Constanța Court, with appropriate proposals. Research continues to establish the circumstances in which the event occurred,” the police said.
