Residents of Krasnoyarsk were outraged by the way landscaping is being done in the city center.
On the morning of March 19, on the streets of Kirov and the Dictatorship of the Proletariat, instead of the usual trees, the townspeople saw chopped off trunks and stumps. In addition, some of the cut branches, according to eyewitnesses, were left in nearby yards. The photo was sent to the editors of Gorod Prima.

The Department of Municipal Economy explained that last week specialists examined the trees on these streets. Most of them had their trunks destroyed and posed a threat to the townspeople. They decided to cut them down, and later new large trees and ornamental shrubs would be planted in this place. The work is part of street improvements.
Previously, the mayor's office clarified that such radical pruning is rarely carried out – only if the plantings are very thick and the crown has not formed at a height.
