The reason why Apple decided to make a rare purchase in Central Europe

Apple rarely makes acquisitions in the Central European region, but now it has decided to buy a Polish video editing software company. MotionVFX is called and was founded in 2009 in Warsaw.
Apple is also famous for the fact that it rarely buys large, billion-dollar companies, but generally chooses to acquire smaller startups with very good specialists, in order to quickly integrate the technologies of the purchased companies into its products.
Polish video editing company MotionVFX provides plugins, templates and visual effects tools that are compatible with Apple's Final Cut Pro editing program, CNBC writes. The Polish company announced the acquisition on its website.
The acquisition of the Polish company will help Apple attract more subscribers to its recently announced Creator Studio suite.
The acquisition will allow Apple to integrate MotionVFX's video capabilities directly, rather than relying on extensions developed by third parties.
The move could help Apple compete more effectively with Adobe Premiere Pro and attract more subscribers, .
Apple's services division — which includes subscriptions like iCloud, Apple Music and bundled apps — generally has higher profit margins than its hardware products.
Apple Creator Studio is a subscription launched by Apple in 2026 that includes, in a single package, the main professional creative applications of the company (video editing, graphics, photo editing, video effects, music and audio productions).
