A serious accident took place on Monday evening on the A0 – Autostrada Bucurestiului. A woman ended up in a serious condition at the hospital after the car she was driving was violently hit by another, following a reckless maneuver by the driver.

According to the police, the driver allegedly tried to exit a parking lot directly onto the second lane of the highway, without securing himself, according to ProTV News.
At that moment, her car was hit on the side by a car that was driving normally. The impact was so strong that the woman's vehicle overturned on the roadway.
Firefighters intervened with the extrication crew to remove the victim from the contorted beasts of the car. The woman was taken in serious condition and rushed to the hospital.
The police have opened a criminal case for culpable bodily harm. The police are continuing their investigations to establish exactly the circumstances in which the road accident took place.
