According to the journalist, two separate “banks” were used for collections. One belonged to the public organization “Hospitaliers”, and the other – personally to Zinkevich, who founded the organization of volunteer paramedics “Hospitaliers” and is now a people's deputy from the party of the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
Khudetskaya said that at least 14 legal entities are involved in the activities of the Hospitallers, and some of them involve commercial activities.
According to the journalist, funds were withdrawn from accounts associated with Zinkevich, and reports on their use were not made public.
“The people’s deputy closely monitors the bank’s entire working day, and as soon as a round 10-20 thousand UAH come in, he withdraws it. Six times a day. I’m just wondering how it will look in the declaration,” Khudetskaya wrote.
According to her, in the UK, £1.3 million was raised for the Hospitallers, the use of which was not reported.
After publicizing the issue of the use of funds, the addresses of crypto-wallets for donations disappeared from the battalion’s website, the material says. Netizens who checked these wallets suggested that about $210 thousand could have been withdrawn from them without financial statements being made public.
After the publication of the data, Khudetskaya said in a comment to the Institute of Mass Information that she began to receive threats, but did not intend to contact the police.
On March 8, Zinkevich admitted on Facebook that reporting on the use of collected funds was not published in full due to the high operational load, and stated that a summary report was being prepared, “however, the work is going slower than we would like.”
