The national team of Suek-Krasnoyarsk in football became the vice-champion of the first Cup of the RFU among corporate teams
A large festival of football united 16 teams of the country's largest companies at sports grounds of Luzhniki SK in Moscow.
For three days, football players representing different sectors of the economy fought for the right to become champions of the First Cup of the Russian Football Union among corporate teams.
“Since childhood, I have been fond of football and, of course, playing Luzhniki for me was a great honor, but no less responsibility,” said Sergey Lappo, participant in the Suek -Krasnoyarsk team, an engineer of long -term planning of the Borodino section. “Each game laid out in full, the opponents were all strong.”
The Suek-Krasnoyarsk team has repeatedly demonstrated well-coordinated work and high professionalism at such large-scale corporate tournaments as the “Titans Games”, where they took gold last year, as well as the first Cup of Melnichenko, where the Krasnoyarsk people took second place. The guys did not fail this time: in the qualifying games, quarter -finals and semi -finals, they did not lose a single match.

“I came to support the guys, I remember them by games in Krasnoyarsk at the Melnichenko Cup,” says Denis Glushakov, football player of the Russian national team. – I remember their desire for victory, I am sure that here they will also show the class! ”
And the Krasnoyarsk did not disappoint! The whole final game they kept the Sberbank, the favorites of the current championship, in tension: the first half played in a draw, and in the second coal miners scored the first goal. Bankers managed to equalize the score already in the last minutes of the match. In the penalty shootout, the Sberbank team won. Suek-Krasnoyarsk became a silver medalist.
“It's a shame, of course. We have gone such a way, but for that now we have a new goal – next year to take the Champions Cup! It is always difficult, but interesting to play with the rivals that you meet on the field for the first time – you do not know what to expect from them. But it is in such matches that skill is hung up, ”said the captain of the SUEK -Krasnoyarsk team, the electrician of the Berezovsky section Alexander Orekhov. -I would have been pleased to play with strong rivals: they had eight goals for the match on average before us, and then somehow they managed to score alone. The finale was very hot, we played with dignity, once again showed character,
coherence and professionalism! “
The skill of the team is also confirmed by personal awards – the assistant driver of the diesel locomotive of the Nazarovsky railway shop of the Borodinsky vocational school, Alexander Danko, was recognized as the best defender of the tournament.
Note that football for the Krasnoyarsk coal miners is one of the favorite and popular sports.
