ZUS serves over 3.1 million active contribution payers. According to tax office data, at the end of last year, over 626 thousand people had debt on their account. Often these are small amounts resulting from, for example, billing errors.

Previously, payers received information about the lack of payment in their eZUS account. Now the new service will be launched.
New ZUS service for entrepreneurs. What will it look like in practice?
“We will send requests for payment of contributions due for the last month on an ongoing basis. This means that entrepreneurs will first receive a message about the lack of payment, then a request for payment, and only when they do not respond – a reminder.” – says ZUS in a statement. The solution has been tested in several voivodeships and is currently being implemented throughout Poland.

ZUS informs that it will send payment requests for the last closed month (e.g. in March for February).
“The payer will learn from the request what settlement month it is, what the deadline for payment of contributions was, what the amount to be paid and what any interest is. There will also be an individual account number for paying contributions and instructions on where the entrepreneur can find information about his or her ZUS balance” – says the message.
An additional convenience and guarantee that the entrepreneur will not miss important news is setting SMS or e-mail notifications after logging in to eZUS.
