36-year-old Sergei Kozlov, who in 2021 was sentenced to 6 years for beating a woman and her daughter with an ax, was released in the summer of 2023 through participation in the SVO as part of the Wagner PMC.
According to investigators, on October 21, he was relaxing with his girlfriend, who was in late stages of pregnancy, and her father in a country house. The girl, in his opinion, broke the speaker, for which he began hitting her on the head with the device until it broke into pieces.
Then he began to kick his beloved and jump on her stomach, shouting that she was unworthy to bear his child. Then he stepped on the girl’s neck. The victim died. 138 injuries were recorded on her body.
At the moment, the man is placed in a pre-trial detention center, he is accused of murdering a pregnant woman, committed with extreme cruelty.
The examination showed that the man was sane. On September 9, in court, the prosecutor's office will ask for a term for the accused.
