Dacia will launch two new models in 2026, and we will learn about one of them on Thursday morning, the Renault group announced. A few days later, on March 10, the head of the group will announce the plan called futuREady for the coming years, a plan in which Dacia has a very important role.

The Renault group says that on March 5 it will announce the name of the new Dacia crossover, and on March 4 information will be given about an international “show car” of Renault.

Dacia will launch two new models this year: a small electric car and a C-segment car, which will also have a combustion engine, but also a hybrid variant.

The head of the Renault group, Francois Prevost confirmed on February 19 that the C-class model from Dacia will be built at the Oyak Renault plant in Turkey. The publication Turkiye Today wrote that Dacia will produce a new SUV model at the Oyak plant in Bursa, after investments of 400 million euros.

François Provost, CEO of Renault Group, together with the management team, will present on March 10 the new strategic plan, called futuREady, the name being thought to suggest that the group is preparing for a complicated future.

About the plan, Renault says it is “designed to respond to profound transformations in the automotive industry and to sustainably prepare the Group in a context more uncertain than ever.”

François Provost became CEO last July and said his priority was to continue the approach of his predecessor Luca de Meo, focused on investing in new products and bringing them to market at a faster pace.

The A-segment Renault Twingo was developed in just 21 months, with the company presenting it as an example of how it is trying to catch up with its Chinese rivals in terms of product development time.

Groupe Renault's revenue rose last year by 3% compared to 2024, reaching 57.9 billion euros in 2025, but the company's operating profit fell from 4.26 billion euros in 2024 to 3.63 billion euros last year.
