The central electoral commission of the Republic of Moldova approved on Thursday the registration of the list of 58 candidates from the Political Party Alliance for the Unity of Romanians (Gold) for participating in the parliamentary elections of September 28, 2025, informs the institution in a statement.
On the same occasion, the list of 52 candidates for the position of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova from the Political Party Liga City and Communes was registered.
Also, the electoral symbols of the formations were approved, confirmed the representatives in the central electoral commission and treasurer, says CEC, according to Agerpres.
At the same time, the CEC announces that it has taken note of the decision of the Court of Appeal of August 19, which admitted the request of the Ministry of Justice regarding the limitation of the activity of four political formations, including the “Renaissance” party.
The CEC thus rejected the request for registration of the list of candidates for the position of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova from the Political Party “Renaissance”, the institution states.
