Polish threads in the Jeffrey Epstein case. Models, a fast boat from Kashubia and a famous tennis player

Jeffrey Epstein was convicted in a Florida state court of sexually abusing underage women in 2008 and served 13 months in prison. Eleven years later, the issue was back at the federal level. In July 2019, New York prosecutors charged him with trafficking minors for sexual exploitation and conspiracy.
What Polish names appeared in the files regarding Jeffrey Epstein?
What is known about the Polish model Mariana Idźkowska in the context of Epstein?
What was Wojciech Fibak's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein?
What information do the documents contain about the transaction between Epstein and the Polish company Sportis?
Epstein did not live to see the trial. On August 10, 2019, he was found unconscious in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. The man died in custody. The coroner ruled that the cause of death was suicide by hanging.
On January 30, 2026, the US Department of Justice published a huge batch of files regarding Epstein. Three million pages of documents, 180 thousand photos and about 2 thousand video recordings have been made publicly available. This is the largest such publication of government files since the entry into force of the law obliging the US authorities to make public all materials related to this case.
Polish materials appear among these materials threads. One of them concerns models.
The files include correspondence with the Polish model Mariana Idźkowska. According to the disclosed e-mails, their contacts, both online and in person, lasted from 2014 to 2015. In a series of messages, Epstein asked the model how her trip went, whether she had already received tickets and how she spent her Easter holidays.

In several messages, the model's data was anonymized. The woman allegedly traveled to New York at Epstein's expense and was most likely visiting his private island in the Caribbean. In one of the messages, the model wrote that she “just came back and had a great day.”
In another e-mail, Jeffrey Epstein instructed the manager of his Palm Beach estate, Janusz Banasiak, what he should do if the model missed her plane to Saint Thomas Island.
At the end of 2015, the model wrote to Epstein that she had a dream about him. -I was naked? Epstein asked. The model replied that he was dressed, but “it looked different than in reality.”

The disclosed files also included several e-mail exchanges between the Polish women and Epstein. However, it is not always known what these conversations were about – only single entries have survived.
“I want to book it. It's a massage course for individuals,” wrote a person signing as Xxx in April 2014 and sent a link to the offer of a massage school in Poznań.

The disclosed correspondence shows that in January 2014, Jeffrey Epstein's support organized the trip of one of the Polish women to Paris. “Hi! Here is your confirmed ticket. Please reply so I know you received this email” – we read in a message sent on January 22, 2014. In the same correspondence, the sender informs that on site the traveler “she will be with Jeffrey in Paris and will have a contact person on site“.
More detailed organizational information appears in subsequent emails. “I would like to give you the address of Jeffrey's Paris apartment – 22 Avenue Foch, apartment 2DD” – writes one of Epstein's entourage, adding that “the code to the front door will be provided if necessary.” In the same message there is a request for a telephone number: “Can I ask for your mobile number?”

The trip is scheduled for February 5–9, 2014. The flights from Warsaw to Paris and back were to be operated by Air France, in economy class.
One of the documents concerns the model Sandra Kubicka. “Sandra Kubicka is one of yours [modelek]? Sweet, I saw her in Miami,” Epstein wrote in a 2015 message sent to Faith Kates, founder of the Next Models modeling agency. This is the only entry regarding Kubicka.

Famous tennis player
The disclosed e-mails also mention the name of the great tennis player Wojciech Fibak from years ago. The messages come from September 2013. Epstein informed about his visit to Paris and asked about the presence of the Polish tennis player in the city. Fibak replied: “Yes, merci. Call me whenever you want! wojtek” (original spelling).

Importantly, the Pole's name in the contact database included the annotation “Fine Arts Investments”, suggesting a business relationship based on art trade. The other documents include Epstein's calendar with a reminder that he is scheduled to meet Fibak on October 5 in Paris.
In an interview with PAP, the former tennis player expressed surprise that he appeared in Epstein's files. — This man played a marginal role in my life. We were neighbors in New York. We barely knew each other. I had an apartment close to him and we sometimes met accidentally in restaurants or on the street. It was that kind of acquaintance. We didn't become friends. We didn't agree, he emphasized.
He added that he lived in Manhattan for over 20 years, and Epstein – like him – invested in real estate and collected art. — I found (these documents) only because he contacted me by e-mail. He probably wanted to visit galleries in Paris because he collected art. I guess that was the point, because he didn't even write why. He didn't invite me anywhere, Fibak said.
Another email concerns Epstein in the context of the World Economic Forum in Davos. The e-mails come from December 2010 and concern an invitation to the so-called Ukrainian Lunch organized by the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation during the Davos Forum in January 2011.
“The lunch will be hosted in honor of the President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, and the President of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski. The presidents will debate on how to stimulate modernization, using the UEFA EURO 2012 championship as a catalyst for change, as well as on how to bring Ukraine and Poland closer together and support Ukraine's European integration,” the invitation read.

In the correspondence, Epstein writes to Boris Nikolic, his long-time collaborator, that he is considering asking Klaus Schwab, president of the World Economic Forum, for an official invitation. “I'm thinking of asking Schwab for an invitation and taking 10-20 of his speakers with me on my plane. What do you think?” – writes Epstein, adding that he was at his ranch at the time and would be happy to meet.
Contractor from Pomerania: our representatives did not visit Jeffrey Epstein's estate
Another Polish thread in the new batch of files relating to Epstein is the transaction between his company LSJE LLC – through which he previously bought the island of Little Saint James – and the Polish company Sportis. It is a manufacturer of RIB boats [skrót od rigid inflatable boat – z ang. szybka łódź motorowa] since the 1990s, and the history of the family business in Kashubia began a decade earlier.
The disclosed documents show that Epstein's company ordered one of its larger models: a 10-meter boat from a company based in the village of Bojanoused to transport passengers rather than for recreation. The price was supposed to be PLN 132,000. euro, payable in two tranches: in advance and upon receipt of the boat by the buyer.

However, in the buyer's final cost summary from 2014, we find a total of more than a quarter of a million. This time the currency is not given, but the summary is an extract from the accounting of an American company, which indicates dollars. Over PLN 181,000 was supposed to go to Sportis, the rest was, among others, transportation costs for a new boat.

– Our company's relationship with this entity was exclusively of a commercial nature and concerned a specific product: a RIB sports boat – Adam Żygowski, member of the management board of Sportis, answered Onet's questions on Monday. – We do not comment on transaction details or commercial terms as this is confidential information. We can only confirm that the order was completed 13 years ago and the unit was handed over for delivery via a specialized maritime logistics operator.
Finally, Żygowski emphasizes that Sportis – apart from the transaction from the previous decade – had no other contacts with LSJE LLC.
– Our customer base includes thousands of people and companies around the world. Sales are most often based on recommendations and opinions about the quality of products and the standard of service. Our representatives did not visit Jeffrey Epstein's estate – sums up a member of the Sportis management board.
The Żygowski family is a family of businessmen well-known in Pomerania, also active in the construction of large ships – including fishing vessels – and as developers.
