Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to take part in the All-Russian competition “Family of the Year”

Residents of Krasnoyarsk and the region are invited to take part in the regional stage of the All-Russian competition “Family of the Year 2025”. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Social Policy.
The annual competition is designed to support strong family ties, healthy lifestyles, active citizenship and the preservation of cultural heritage. Families with one child, large families, as well as those caring for adopted or foster children are invited to participate.
The selection will take place in six categories:
- “Large family”: for families raising three or more children;
- “Young family”: for couples just starting their family journey;
- “Rural family”: for families living and actively participating in the life of rural areas;
- “Family of the Defender of the Fatherland”: for families, one or more members of which are or were participants in hostilities;
- “Golden Family”: for families who have celebrated 30 or more years of marriage;
- “Family is the keeper of traditions”: for families who carefully preserve and pass on national customs, crafts and cultural values from generation to generation.
Important selection criteria are commitment to a healthy lifestyle, having a variety of hobbies and talents, as well as active participation in the life of their locality and region.
“The “Family of the Year” competition is held within the framework of the “Family” national project. The selection allows us to see how many amazing, strong, loving families there are in our region, and throughout Russia. These are stories that inspire, show that happiness is nearby, in our homes, in our children,” noted Minister of Social Policy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Irina Pastukhova.
Applications are accepted from March 2 to April 17, 2026 by email: [email protected]. Presentation materials must be attached to the application: video, family photographs, copies of diplomas and certificates confirming the family’s achievements.
Specialists of the Resource and Methodological Center for the Social Protection System, acting as the operator of the competition, are ready to provide consulting support by phone: 8 (391) 234-34-69, ext. 118.
The awarding of the winners of the regional stage will take place in July, on the eve of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. The laureates of each nomination will receive cash prizes and the opportunity to represent the Krasnoyarsk Territory at the federal level. The stories of all participating families will be immortalized in the honorary book “Family of the Year. Krasnoyarsk region-2026″.
