Debt of the State Treasury. The Ministry of Finance revealed new data

The debt of the State Treasury at the end of January 2026 increased by PLN 46.4 billion (2.4%) month-on-year and amounted to approximately PLN 1,998.3 billion – the Ministry of Finance reported in its estimated data.

Debt broken down by the place of issue was:

• domestic debt: approx. PLN 1,595.0 billion,
• debt in foreign currencies: approx. PLN 403.3 billion (i.e. 20.0% of the entire ST debt).

At the end of December, the debt amounted to PLN 1,951,937.7 million. (PAP Business)
