Reaction from Russia after the US attack on Iran: Trump “the pacifist has once again shown his true face”

Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, criticized US President Donald Trump on Saturday for the attack on Iran, saying that the negotiations so far with Tehran were “a cover operation”, reports Reuters.

“The pacifist has shown his face again,” said Medvedev, former Russian president.

“All negotiations with Iran are a cover operation. No one doubted that. No one really wanted to negotiate anything,” he continued.

“The question is who has more patience to wait for the inglorious end of their enemy. The US is only 249 years old. The Persian Empire was founded more than 2,500 years ago. Let's see in 100 years…” Medvedev continued.
