Żurek announced at a press conference that the case concerned a violation of the provisions of denying Nazi and communist crimes “publicly and contrary to the facts.”

– Mr. Braun's statements at various speeches, but also in the media, were assessed by the prosecutor's office as violating the law and denying Nazi crimes, and I signed another request to the European Parliament to waive the MEP's immunity in this respect – said Żurek.

– I want to say here with all certainty: there will be no consent to this type of statements in Poland – he emphasized. (PAP)
