In October 2025, the World Bank predicted a slowdown in Ukraine's economic growth in 2025 up to 2% of GDP. However, the Ministry of Economy reported in January 2026 that Ukraine’s real GDP in 2025 grew by 2.2%. This was achieved, in particular, with the help of business recovery and development programs financed with international assistance, the department stated.
