

Yushchenko was president of Ukraine from 2005 to 2010. At the beginning of his presidential term, Vitalina Yushchenko was 25 years old.
“I won’t hide: there were certainly advantages. But if we talk about the disadvantages, there were also a lot of them,” she admitted. “When so much attention is focused on you, when you have a huge responsibility for every action, word or step, it creates serious psychological pressure.”
Vitalina Yushchenko noted that at that time “I felt like a fish in an aquarium, where there was almost no opportunity to be alone.”
“Besides, I was not ready then for the criticism of thousands of people and did not immediately realize a simple thing: no matter what you do, it is impossible for everyone to look equally good,” she added.
Context
Vitalina Yushchenko is the eldest daughter of Viktor Yushchenko, born on April 15, 1980. Her mother is the politician’s first wife, Svetlana Kolesnik, a former teacher of Ukrainian language and literature.
Vitalina Yushchenko has three children. The father of Domenica’s eldest daughter is businessman Mikhail Gonchar, and she gave birth to Victor and Andriana from businessman Alexei Khakhlev. The couple separated in 2011. Vitalina Yushchenko did not advertise her personal life after the divorce.
